1) BASTION // PETITE FLEUR
Ponteix’s debut full length record, Bastion, was released March 29, 2019. This indie psych pop record boasts a maximalist approach to production cemented in a wall of saturated electronic rhythms. Echoing chambers of gleaming synths are pitched midway between Lepage’s nostalgic vocals while glassy guitars shimmer in and out carving couloirs of light.
Petite Fleur (Duration: 05:57), embedded below, exemplifies the sonic and lyrical content present throughout the album.
2 ) VISUAL IDENTITY
Ponteix has a cohesive visual brand across many mediums thanks to having worked with Kuse on various aspects of the project including artwork, graphic design, photography and video art since the inception of Ponteix in the summer of 2015. The aesthetic direction of the live performance projections will be heavily informed by the visual identity and colour pallet surrounding Bastion, which is minimal yet vibrant with a vaguely retro feel.
Below are several items demonstrating Ponteix’s visual identity, including the artwork and packaging for Bastion which acts as the backbone and jump off point for the the visual identity.
3) PROJECTION DEMOS

These projections will remain in the live visual set going forward as they reflect Ponteix’s visual identity and will influence the aesthetic direction of the projections that will be created during this project.
